Sreesanth remains at the NCA

Bangalore: S. Sreesanth, nursing a stiff back that ruled him out of the recent match between India ‘A’ and Australia ‘A’, stayed back at the National Cricket Academy while his team-mates flew to Hyderabad for the next match commencing on September 9.

Sreesanth, who has been asked by the selectors to prove his fitness in the domestic circuit, was on a comeback trail following a side strain but with the latest injury cropping up, the seamer’s rehabilitation program might have an extension. — Principal Correspondent
