NEW DELHI: Favourite K. Humpy will take on China’s Shen Yang in the quarterfinals of the women’s World chess championship at Nalchik, Russia, on Sunday. On Saturday, Shen Yang bounced back to surprise Russia’s Nadezhda Kosintseva 3.5-2.5. In the other quarterfinal from the same half, third seed Hou Yifan of China will play Lilit Mkrtchian, the Armenian who knocked out D. Harika. .
