NEW DELHI: National voluntary organisation Church’s Auxiliary for Social Action has mobilised a 30-member team of volunteers with vehicles and other logistical support to render relief to the flood-affected people in Bihar. “The group is reaching out to villagers in interior Madhepura district,” said a release, adding that 5,000 families were being given flattened rice, roasted gram flour and jaggery. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
