VISAKHAPATNAM: In order to clear extra rush of travelling passengers, the East Coast Railway has decided to run a bi-weekly special train between Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad. According to a spokesman of ECoR in Bhubaneswar, No: 0748 Hyderabad - Visakhapatnam bi-weekly special train will leave Hyderabad at 7.30 p.m. on every Friday and Saturday between September 12 and 27 and reach Visakhapatnam at 8.30 a.m. on the next day. In the return direction, No. 0747 Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad bi-weekly special train will leave Visakhapatnam at 8.00 p.m. on every Saturday and Sunday between September 13 and 28 and will reach Hyderabad at 8.50 a.m. on the following day. The bi-weekly special train will have stoppages at Anakapalle, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot Junction, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, Kazipet and Secunderabad between Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad. The train will run with 10 sleeper class coaches, one AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, two General second class and two general second class – cum – luggage van. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
