Cheetas in semifinals

KOLKATA: Last year’s runner-up Chennai Cheetas eased into the semifinals of the all-India and South Asia rugby beating local challenger Jungle Crows 26-15 here on Sunday. Emil Vartazarian was the sole contributor in Chennai Cheetas’s tally.

In the other first round matches of the day, host Calcutta Cricket and Football Club (CC&FC) outlasted the challenge of Maharashtra State Police 9-5 in a closely contested Pool A encounter.
