IDBI Fortis collects Rs. 100 crore premium

CHENNAI: IDBI Fortis Life Insurance has collected a premium of Rs. 100 crore in five months. The company has issued 25,428 policies and insured for Rs. 827 crore as on August 31, according to a release. The company is a recently launched joint venture of IDBI Bank, Federal Bank and Fortis (headquartered in Belgium and the Netherlands). — Corporate Reporter
