Four Al-Badr militants arrested in Kashmir

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir police have arrested four militants owing allegiance to the Al-Badr outfit for carrying out two grenade attacks in Gulmarg and Batmaloo in July this year which left eight persons dead and dozens injured.

The militants, arrested in two separate operations in the Handwara belt on Monday, were members of a gang assigned the job of throwing grenades and were working for the Pakistani commander of Al-Badr, Tamim, a police spokesman said. — PTI
