Anish scalps seven

Bangalore: D.V. Anish’s seven-wicket haul helped Combined City XI gain a 194-run first innings lead over Combined Moffusil XI in a S.A. Srinivasan Trophy tournament match that concluded in a draw here on Wednesday.

The scores: Combined City XI 312 for nine in 90 overs and 38 for one in nine overs drew with Combined Moffusil XI 118 in 42 overs (D.V. Anish seven for 27).

Moffusil XI 218 in 76 overs (S.K. Moinuddin six for 46) drew with Bangalore Zone XI 231 for eight in 72 overs (Nikhil Kashyap 57, Ashok Waddar six for 43).

President’s XI 278 in 84.1 overs (Mayank Agarwal 79, G.R. Ranjan 54, Vikas Raj 40, Arjun Shetty four for 76, P. Magizhendan four for 83) and 110 for one in 29 overs (Mayank Agarwal 50 n.o.) drew with Bangalore City XI 105 in 32.3 overs (Rajesh five for 30).
