Football trials

NEW DELHI: Trials to select the Delhi team for the 31st National sub-junior football championship will be held at the Air Force football ground, New Willingdon Camp, Race Course, from 4 p.m. on September 11.

Players born on or after January 31, 1994, are eligible. Interested players may contact the Camp convenor, Hem Chand or coach Sq. Ldr. S. S. Hakeem at the venue.

The national sub-junior championship is scheduled to be held in Mahilpur, Punjab, from September 20 to October 6. Delhi has been clubbed with Gujarat, Bihar and Himachal Pradesh in group ’G’ in the championship expected to feature 27 teams.
