Vasant Valley beats Dhekial

NEW DELHI: A goal each by Avie Kakkar and Aditya Lal helped Vasant Valley School, New Delhi, to a 2-1 victory over Dhekial Higher Secondary School, Golaghat, Assam, in a league match of the under-17 section in the Subroto Cup junior football tournament at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Wednesday.

Shyam Murah scored the goal for the Assam team.

In an exhibition match in the under-14 section, FC Kusnacht, Switzerland, defeated Air Force Schools XI 3-0.
