Ganapathy takes lead

GURGAON: Rahul Ganapathy’s bogey-free five under 67 gave him a one-stroke lead after the first round of the AIS Open golf tournament at the Golden Greens golf course here on Wednesday.

Looking for a second title in nine months, Ganapathy fired birdies on the fifth, sixth, 10th, 12th and 18th holes to stay a stroke ahead of Feroz Ali Mollah, Ashok Kumar Digvijay Singh.
