KOLKATA: Mohammedan Sporting kept its title hopes alive with a 4-1 thumping of Calcutta Port Trust (CPT) in its penultimate outing in the premier division of the Calcutta Football League here on Wednesday. The win helped Mohammedan Sporting tally 27 points from 13 matches. Theodore Wrobeh gave Sporting an early lead, scoring in the second minute of the match. Okoro doubled the lead in the 32nd minute with a brilliant volley on the run before Jyothikumar made it 3-0 for Sporting in the 44th minute. CPT pulled one back through Daniel Ayeni in the 74th minute (3-1).
