North wins

PERINTHALMANNA: Host North, whose three-day match with Central was called off due to rain, won the State Under-22 inter-zone cricket championship, finishing with six points, one ahead of South here on Wednesday.

The scores: North 124 drew with Central 83 for two in 28 overs (Praveen Achuthan 44 not out).
