Shinde slams century

HYDERABAD: A century by Dhanaji Rao Shinde (114 not out) helped Nrupatunga College post a 184-run win over Loyola Academy in the M.N. Abbasi Trophy inter-collegiate cricket tournament here on Wednesday.

The scores: Under-19 Trophy (three-day final): Wesley 102 for seven (Zeeshan three for 32) vs St. John’s College.

M.N. Abbasi Trophy: Nrupatunga 226 for five (Anshul Sinha 36, Dhanaji Rao Shinde 114 n.o.) bt Loyola Academy 42 (B. Pradeep Krishna five for 15).

MVSR College 129 lost to Aurora College 130 for seven (Abhishek Shah 50).

St. Mary’s, Yousufguda, 206 for eight (Eshwar Prasad 40, Surender 80, Arvind 50) bt St. Martin’s 91 (Vishnu four for 20, Asif five for 15).
