Town Hall beats St. Joseph’s

NEW DELHI: Town Hall School, Sundargarh (Assam), defeated Goa’s St. Joseph’s High School 4-0 in the pre-quarterfinal league encounter of Subroto Cup football tournament’s junior section at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Thursday.

Sankho Marandi, Nabin Lakra, Ambika Lakra and Bhada Tudo were the scorers.

In another match, Government Model Senior Secondary School (Chandigarh) trounced Scottish Universities Mission Institute, Kalimpong (Bengal) 8-0. Earlier, NCC (North East Region) and NCC (West Bengal and Sikkim) played out a 1-1 draw.
