Abrahamian appeals to CAS

GENEVA: The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) said on Thursday that Ara Abrahamian, the Swedish wrestler stripped of his Olympic bronze medal after dumping it on the floor in protest, has appealed his exclusion from the Games. “Abrahamian requests that the sanction be limited to a warning,” CAS said in a statement. — AFP
