Poet remembered

Amutha Surabi Kalai Mandram observed 88th death anniversary of Subramania Bharathi at Setupati Higher Secondary School on Thursday. Mayor G. Thenmozhi garlanded the statue of Bharathi. Students dressed like Bharathi participated. Bharathi Ilakkiya Peravai observed the day in the presence of its secretary Albert, old student of the poet, Abdul Gaffoor, and freedom fighter I. Mayandi Bharathi.
