NAMAKKAL: The body of a man, who went missing when a coracle capsized in the Cauvery River in Chozhasiramani village on Thursday, was found on Friday. Police said the coracle was transporting people from Chozha Siramani to Pasur village in Erode district, when the accident took place.

Somasundaram, a resident of Chozha Siramani drowned, while 13 others swam to safety. Chinnathambi of Elampillai went missing. A team of fire and rescue service personnel found the body in Kannimarkuttai, about 3 km from the accident spot.
