KSP in final

BANGALORE: MEG set up a tile clash with Karnataka State Police (KSP) in the State ‘A’ division volleyball championship, here on Saturday.

In the semifinals, MEG defeated Jindal (Bellary) 27-29, 25-16, 25-22, 25-23, while KSP beat South Western Railway 25-22, 18-25, 25-22, 25-20.

In the women’s section also KSP entered the final beating BMS College 25-12, 25-14, 25-15. It will meet Sports Hostel (Mysore), which humbled Sports School (Vidyanagar) 25-17, 25-13, 25-21 in the other semifinal.

Both the finals will be played on Monday.

Netball league

The Karnataka State Amateur Netball Association will conduct the State league championship for men and women from September 17 to 20 at Government PU College courts, 18th Cross, Malleswaram. Entries close on September 15. Call 23380094 or 9448270195 for details.
