Girl child dies

Mahalakshmi, a two-year-old girl child died of burns while her parents sustained burn injuries after a fireball was flung on them by an unidentified person through the window while the family was asleep in their house at Inamreddiapatti near Vaiyampatti in the district in the early hours on Saturday. Her parents – P. Dhanapal (28) and Gunavathi (23) - are undergoing treatment at Government Hospital in the city.
