Meet on tropical hematology

PUDUCHRRY: The 49th annual conference of the Indian Society of Hematology and Transfusion Medicine will be held at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) from September 18 to 21.

According to a release, “tropical hematology” would be the theme of the meet.

There would be discussions on common tropical diseases such as malaria, kalazar and leptospirosis. A total of 550 delegates from different parts of the country and abroad would participate in the conference, the release said.
