Documentary on Ritwik Ghatak

NEW DELHI: A documentary “Jantranar Dalil: Ritwik” in Bengali on the life and works of noted neo-realist filmmaker, thinker and innovator Ritwik Ghatak was screened here over the weekend. CPI(M) Polit Bureau member and MP Brinda Karat and West Bengal Finance Minister Ashim Dasgupta lauded the works of Ritwik Ghatak, especially those dealing with partition, displacement of refugees, and economic impoverishment.
