Grievances redressed

Nagapattinam: Special meetings convened by the Nagapttinam district administration a few days ago to hear the grievances of the public relating to public distribution system and also issue of new family cards, deletion and inclusion of names in the family cards in all the seven taluks of Nagapattinam, Tirukkuvalai, Vedaranyam, Kilvelur, Sirkazhi, Mayiladuturai and Tarangampadi came as a boon to the people as senior district officials redressed the grievances on the spot.

The meetings were conducted in one village in each taluk and similar meetings will also be conducted every month in the district. Similarly, the patta transfer camps have been organised in all the taluks benefiting the farmers in the district.
