Engineers’ Day to be observed

The Vijayawada local centre of the Institution of Engineers (India) is observing the 41st Engineers’ Day on Monday. A meeting will be held at Velagapudi Ramakrishna Memorial AC Auditorium at Dr. K.L. Rao Bhavan in Governorpet. Local MP L. Rajagopal will be the chief guest, while assistant professor of environmental sciences at Acharya Nagarjuna University A.V.V.S. Swamy will speak on the theme ‘Planet Earth,’ a press release said here on Sunday.
