Sudarshan Rao is member of Oscar awards panel

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce has nominated G. Sudarshan Rao, actor, writer and film producer who heads Spoorthee Art Pictures, as a member of the jury for selecting an Indian film for Oscar nomination.

He replaces K. S. Rama Rao, president of the chamber, who has expressed his inability to be a member of the jury due to his pre-occupation. Mr. Sudarshan Rao will shortly go to Mumbai where members of the Oscar award nomination committee and will view from September 18 all films produced in the country.
