Man charged with killing mother

KHAMMAM: A 60-year-old woman Allakunta Venkatamma, working in a stone quarry near Mudigonda, was clubbed to death allegedly by her son Ailaiah after an altercation on Monday night. Both of them came to place from Chilukur in Nalgonmda district in search of work a few months ago. The accused was absconding. The Mudigonda police sent the body for post mortem. – Staff Reporter
