Programme for wet grinder manufacturers

COIMBATORE: Coimbatore branch of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Institute will organise an awareness programme for wet grinder manufacturers here on a new motor design.

A release from the institute said the new design was developed by a Chennai-based organisation under the cluster development activities.

Demonstration today

It would be demonstrated at a meeting on September 17. The design would be finalised after incorporating the suggestions of the manufacturers.

In the second phase, it would be developed and introduced to the Coimbatore wet grinder industry through the Coimbatore Wet Grinder and Accessories Manufacturers’ Association.

S. Sivagnanam, Director of the institute and K. Illano, president of the Coimbatore District Small Industries Association, would be present at the meeting.
