Nihal Kapoor, Jugal Marfatia upset

HYDERABAD: Rank outsider Hadin Bava ousted fourth-seeded Nihal Kapoor 2-6, 6-0, 6-0 in the second round of the boys singles in the VIF-International Tennis Federation junior tournament at the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh complex here on Tuesday.

Fifth-seeded Jugal Marfatia met the same fate at the hands of Sivakumar Sidharth, losing 7-6(2), 6-3. On the distaff side, Nimisha Mohan eliminated sixth seed Arantxa Andrady 3-6, 6-1, 6-2.
