Basu discharged

KOLKATA: Veteran Marxist leader Jyoti Basu was discharged on Tuesday from a city hospital where was admitted on September 7, three days after suffering a fall at his Salt Lake residence.

There was no change in the blood clot in his brain. It was decided to discharge him after taking into consideration his “stable condition.”
