Beedi workers’ demand

HYDERABAD: The AP Beedi and Cigar Workers’ Union has demanded withdrawal of Centre’s proposal on printing scorpion symbol on each beedi bundle as a health warning, with effect from October 2. It felt that the interests of 10 lakh beedi workers in the State was at stake.
