YSR condoles former IAS officer

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy has condoled the death of a retired IAS officer of the State cadre A.K. Sarma. He belonged to Uttar Pradesh and 1971 batch of IAS.

Besides several stints in the Central Government, he was chairman of Godavari Valley Development Authority and Special Chief Secretary of Transport in the State.

He retired in October last year.
