NEW DELHI: Russia’s Alexandra Kosteniuk claimed the women’s World chess title beating young Chinese third seed Hou Yifan 2.5-1.5 in the four-game final at Nalchik, Russia, on Wednesday. Alexandra drew the fourth and final game in 56 moves to thwart Hou Yifan’s bid to take the match into the tie-breaker.
