Sidharth enters semifinals

HYDERABAD: Sidharth Sivakumar recorded an authoritative 6-1, 6-1 win over Hadin Bava in the boys singles quarterfinals of the VIF-International Tennis Federation junior tournament at the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh Complex, here on Thursday.

Joining him in the semifinals are Shantanu Rajput, a 6-3, 6-2 winner over K. Pradeep Reddy, Mansingh Athare, who defeated Rohit Bisht 6-1, 6-1 and Digvijay Mehta, stretched to three sets before beating Vedant Kapoor 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.
