NEW DELHI: Avie Kakkar scored both the goals as Vasant Valley School (Vasant Kunj) defeated Oriental Academy (Manipur) 2-0 in the pre-quarterfinals of the sub-junior section in the Subroto Cup football tournament at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Thursday.

Shyam Murah struck the match-winner in the 19th minute as Dhekial Higher Secondary School, Golaghat, Assam, beat MSP Higher Secondary School, Kerala, 1-0.
