In full swing: The Government Maternity Hospital being constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.10 crore in Krishnagiri. Krishnagiri: The construction of a new Government Maternity Hospital building in Krishnagiri will be over by January next. The work, which began 10 months ago, was going on in full swing. Finishing works such as fixing tiles, painting and white washing were under process, said Dr. V. Deverajan, Joint Director (Health) in-charge. The hospital was being constructed at Rs. 2.10 crore sanctioned by the State Government. The new building would have 48 beds, a modern delivery unit and ICU and other neonatal care units, he said. “The government has further sanctioned Rs. 65 lakh fund.
