Super Bazar nets profit

Kakinada: The Kakinada Consumers’ Mutually Aided Cooperative Central Stores Limited (Super Bazar) held its general body meeting on Saturday. Chairman Y. Narayana Murthy welcomed the gathering and chief executive officer K. Subrahmanyam submitted the 2007-08 annual report.

The stores earned a net profit of Rs. 11,87,227 during the year. The sales amounted to Rs. 8,71,21,748, purchases Rs. 7,91,90,628 and gross profit Rs. 71,10,355.

Later, the CEO announced the unanimous election of E. Subrahmanyam, Bhanwarlal Jain and R. Rayanna Rao as governing body members who would hold office for a period of three years from October 1, 2008. Governing body members A. Rama Murthy, K. Anjaneyulu, J. Vijay Kumar and G. Veerababu were present.
