Ryan Express wins title

KOCHI: Ryan Express from Chennai, comprising Lakshmi Chari, Farooq Dadabhoy, S. Vijayaraghavan and Sherien Ryan, won the Board-A-Match in the 46th South Zone bridge championship at the Regional Sports Centre here.

Kamats (Goa) finished runner-up.

A. Rajagopalan and C. Rangarajan lifted the pairs title with Dadabhoy and Vijayaraghavan finishing second.

George Parackan, Judicial Member, Central Administrative Tribunal, gave away the prizes.

The final placings: Board-A-Match: 1. Ryan Express, Chennai (Lakshmi Chari, Farooq Dadabhoy, S. Vijayaraghavan, Sherien Ryan), 2. Kamats, Goa (Suresh Kamat, Parab, C. Dayal, C. Alagappan).
