Under Secretaries promoted

CHENNAI: The government has promoted Under Secretaries in the Finance Department as Deputy Secretaries.

M. Kesavan, Under Secretary, Finance Department, has been promoted as Deputy Secretary, Finance Department, and posted as Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer, Directorate of Medical and Rural Health Services, Chennai.

T. Sambandan, Under Secretary, Finance Department, who is on other duty as Financial Adviser and Chief Accounts Officer, Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Board, has been promoted as Deputy Secretary, Finance Department, and posted in the same department.

G. Balachandran, Under Secretary, Finance Department, on other duty as Chief Accounts Officer, Directorate of Family Welfare, Chennai, has been promoted as Deputy Secretary, Finance Department, and posted as Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer, Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Chennai.

N. Thiraviyum, Deputy Secretary, Finance Department, has been transferred and posted as Finance Officer, Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, says an official release here.
