Pawan Negi scores century

NEW DELHI: A century by Pawan Negi helped Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, score a 105-run win over Ravindra Public School in the DDCA inter-school under-16 cricket tournament.

The scores:

Government School (Janakpuri) 64 in 38 overs (Vikas Hatwala three for 19) lost to Vidya Jain School 65 for three in 11.4 overs (Nakul Sharma 31).

DPS (Mathura Road) 252 for nine in 40 overs (Pawan Negi 100, Lalit Choudhary 58) bt Ravindra Public School 147 in 31.4 overs.

State mini volleyball

The Delhi State mini volleyball championship will be held at the VV DAV Public School, Vikas Puri, from September 30 to October 2.

Boys and girls born on or after January 1, 1995, will be eligible. Entries close at 5 p.m. on September 28.

The Delhi team for the National mini championship to be staged in Hyderabad in October will be selected from the State championship.
