SN College (Chempazanthy) dominates

Thiruvananthapuram: Swimmers from SN College (Chempazanthy) dominated the pool even as three records were set on the opening day of the Kerala University inter-collegiate aquatics meet at the Water Works swimming pool here on Tuesday.

M. Arun Krishnan swam to a new mark in 200m freestyle race clocking 2:10.85s. The 4x200m relay squad of SNC Chemapzanthy set the second record of the meet with a timing of 9:20.35s. Saranya G. Nair accounted for the lone record in the women’s section winning the 800m freestyle in 10:50.94 seconds.

SN College was leading the points tally with 105 points followed by MG College (Thiruvananthauram) with 57 points.
