Hat-trick by Michael

NEW DELHI: A hat-trick by Michael Chowgtu helped Delhi to a 5-0 victory over Himachal Pradesh in a Cluster VII league match, and on course for a quarterfinal berth, in the 31st National sub-junior football championship at Mahilpur, Punjab, on Tuesday.

Captain Kislay Sajwan and Suprnaya Devarath were the scorers for the Delhi team that had earlier beat Gujarat.

Delhi will meet Bihar in its last league match on September 25. Bihar defeated Gujarat 2-1 in the other match in the group after having suffered a shock defeat to Himachal Pradesh.
