Two-day stir by bank employees

About 3,000 employees and officers belonging to various public and private sector bank branches will observe a two-day strike on Wednesday and Thursday to protest against the policies of the managements and the Government. This is in response to a nation-wide call given by bank unions.

They would assemble in front of the SBI branch near old Jail Road Junction at 10 a.m. and hold demonstrations, , convener of United Forum of Bank Unions S.N. Sahu said.
