Godrej’s security solutions for vital installations
| Exports its products to 40 countries |
KOCHI: The security equipment division of Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Company Ltd. is in talks with the Kerala Police on strengthening the security of vital installations. Talks were also on with the airport authorities and the Cochin Shipyard Limited to ensure comprehensive security cover for these organisations, said D.E. Byramjee, vice-president and business head of security equipment division.
He said that his company had come out with a slew of products covering premises security, electronic security, physical security etc. All these products could be configured on turnkey basis to deal with the specific requirements of each individual or institutional customer. The company had also implemented a four-part service option comprising security audit, security consultancy, comprehensive security and annual maintenance contract.
The security equipment division of Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Company Ltd. was the largest manufacturer of security equipment in the country and controlled over 75 per cent of the domestic market in physical security products, he said. The company was also exporting its products to over forty countries in the Middle East, South East Asia, the European Union, U.S., the SAARC countries and Australia, he said.
