CSB hikes interest rates

Thrissur: Catholic Syrian Bank (CSB) has increased rates of interest on resident and non-resident term deposits with effect from Friday.

The following are the revised rates.

For deposits below Rs.15 lakh: for a period of 7 to 14 days – 4.75 %; 5 to 45 days – 5 %; 46 to 90 days – 5.50 %; 91 to 179 days – 7.50 %; 180 to less than one year – 8.50 %; one year – 10.70 %; one to two years –10.15 %; two to five years – 9.75 %); five to 10 years – 9.25 %.

For deposits of Rs.15 lakh to Rs.50 lakh: for a period of 7 to 14 days – 5 %; 15 to 45 days – 5 %; 46 to 90 days – 5.75 %; 91 to 179 days – 8 %; 180 days to one year – 8.75 %; one year – 10.70 %; one to two years – 10.25 %; two to five years – 9.85 %; five to 10 years – 9.35 %.
