Book on Northern Railway released

NEW DELHI: Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad released a book, “Bridges, Buildings and Black Beauties of Northern Railway” authored by Vinoo Mathur of the Railway Board, at National Rail Museum here on Tuesday.

The book records the history of Northern Railway from the beginning, providing interesting accounts of some of the challenges faced by railway personnel. A rare collection of vintage maps and photographs is also included in the book.
