Gold recovered

CHENNAI: A youth who escaped with 563 grams of gold ingot from a goldsmith’s shop here a couple of days ago was arrested on Thursday.

Police said A. Bharat Chandra Manna (22) of Kolkata, who was working in the goldsmith’s shop at Elephant Gate, absconded with the gold piece. A special team nabbed the suspect at the Central Railway Station here.

The gold ingot was also recovered.
