GUNTUR: ING Vysya Bank opened its new ATM at Lakshmipuram on the main road opposite Nilgiris Store on Friday. District Collector G. Venkatesham opened the counter in the presence of bank’s Associate Vice-President and Cluster Head B. Ramesh and Centre in-charge Sk. Mehmood. The Collector expressed his desire that the bank concentrated on fulfilling social obligations while providing new facilities to customers. The Pedaravooru branch in Guntur had got commendation from the State government, the Cluster Head reminded the customers and informed them that the bank had actively participated in the loan waiver scheme implementation. The bank had reached the 40 per cent target set by the Reserve Bank of India for Priority Sector lending, he added. The customers’ experience at all its branches and ATMs was the best and Internet Banking was a runaway success, he added.
