Bhatnagar award for CCMB scientist

HYDERABAD: A scientist of the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), L. S. Shashidhara, has been selected for the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award in Biological Sciences for 2008 for his research contributions in developmental biology. The award, carrying a cash prize of Rs.5 lakh, a citation and a plaque, is to be presented by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh soon. Dr. Shashidhara, joined CCMB in 1995. –Special Correspondent
