Piduguralla civic chief resigns

GUNTUR: Municipal Chairman Mummadi Balarama Krishna Murthy of Piduguralla Municipal Council tendered his resignation to Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy on Friday. The Municipal Chairman went to Hyderabad on Friday along with a few of his supporters to complain to the Chief Minister against the Gurajla MLA Janga Krishna Murthy. Meanwhile, Regional Director Municipal Administration Karuna Chandra Babu also visited Piduguralla on Friday, but it was not clear whether the Municipal Chairman sent a copy to the District Collector and the RD to make his resigation official.
