The Belfry (England): Jeev Milkha Singh shared the lead with Ryder Cup star Lee Westwood even though the Indian was still six holes away from completing the second round, which was suspended due to thick fog, at the British Masters golf championships here. Jeev was three-under after completing 12 holes, which took his overall score to six-under 138 for a share of the lead with Westwood (70). It was not the kind of start that Jeev might have been hoping when he stumbled to a first-hole bogey, but he made amends with a birdie on the very next hole. This was followed by another dropped stroke on the fourth before he hit purple patch, reeling off a birdie on the sixth followed by a stunning hole-in-one on the seventh. Two-under at the turn, Jeev added another birdie on the 11th and parred the 12th before fog forced suspension of play. Shiv Kapur, rode on a fine back- nine to rise to the tied 23rd spot.
